White Cotton Pleated Bib Front Dinner Shirt
This is a white dinner shirt intended for black tie, made in Drake's factory in Somerset. It follows the traditional evening shirt, with a pleated bib down the front, double cuffs for links and a point collar. The bib has a floating interlining so it keeps its shape without going stiff, and the shirt is sewn with the same single-needle construction as the house's everyday British-made shirts. It is designed to go with Drake's dinner suit.

Thomas Mason White Luxury Broadcloth
We chose a white two-ply Thomas Mason broadcloth because it is a fine, smooth, plain-weave cotton, close to the lightweight poplin of the original. We kept the main formal details: a pleated tuxedo front, a point collar, French cuffs, a curved hem and mother of pearl buttons. Proper Cloth does not offer a floating bib interlining or whipped buttons, so we used a soft collar and soft cuffs for a similarly relaxed finish, with fine stitching set at 0.1 inch.
A white Egyptian cotton broadcloth from the Italian mill Thomas Mason, woven in 120s two-ply yarns. It is very lightweight, smooth and slightly lustrous, with a clean solid face. It irons up crisply but creases readily in wear.
