White Linen Long Point Collar Shirt
Drake's long point collar shirt in white linen is a summer shirt, made at the company's factory in Somerset, England. The cloth is chosen for how it ages: it softens with wear, creases easily and fades gently over time. It has a regular silhouette, single-needle seams and a long collar on a floating interlining. That keeps it relaxed enough to wear open with tailoring or casual trousers, and neat enough to wear with a tie.

Baird McNutt White Irish Linen
We chose a white Irish linen from Baird McNutt because it matches the original's cloth, colour and light weight, and has the same irregular slubbed texture. We kept the front placket, a single chest pocket, a curved hem and mother of pearl buttons. We used soft collar and cuff constructions to get close to the unstructured feel of the floating interlining. Proper Cloth's options don't include the same long point collar or rounded cuff, so we chose a soft point collar, a one-button barrel cuff and an angled chest pocket.
A lightweight plain-weave linen in bright white, woven and finished by Baird McNutt in Northern Ireland from 26s yarns. It has a soft hand and the uneven texture typical of linen. Like any linen, it creases readily and softens with washing.
