Olive Cotton Two-Pocket Long Point Collar Work Shirt
Drake's work shirt draws on hard-wearing utility clothing, made up as a plain olive twill shirt that sits somewhere between a shirt and a light overshirt. It has a long point collar and two flap pockets on the chest, and is finished with single-needle seams and fisheye corozo buttons. The collar and cuffs use a brushed floating interlining, so they stay soft rather than stiff. It suits casual wear, either on its own or worn open over a T-shirt.

Japanese Olive Cotton Selvedge Twill
We picked a solid olive cotton twill from Japan because it matches the original's colour, weave and substantial weight. The cloth is washed after the shirt is sewn, which gives it the soft, broken-in feel of a work shirt. We chose a soft point collar and soft one-button barrel cuffs to stand in for the original's floating interlining, along with a curved hem and corozo buttons. Proper Cloth's flap pockets come as its Western style, so the pocket flaps are not shaped like the plain flaps on the original.
A Japanese selvedge twill in solid warm olive, woven from 20s single-ply cotton and sitting at the heavier end of medium weight. The shirt is washed after sewing, so the cloth comes out very soft with some puckering along the seams. Selvedge twill is also more durable than ordinary twill.
