Grey Pinpoint Oxford Cotton Cloth Button-Down Shirt
Drake's treats the oxford cloth button-down as a foundation of its range, a shirt whose form has changed little in roughly a hundred years. This version uses pinpoint oxford, a finer and lighter member of the oxford family with a gentle sheen and a softer feel. It is made in the company's Somerset factory to a regular cut, with single-needle seams and a collar built to roll rather than sit flat. It is intended to work across most settings, from tailoring to casual dress.

Clark Grey Oxford Cloth
We chose a solid light grey oxford in all-cotton Pima as the nearest available match in colour and character, accepting that it is a heavier, more textured oxford than Drake's pinpoint. We set a soft unlined-style button-down collar to give the roll that defines the original, with a soft front placket, a soft one-button cuff, a single chest pocket and mother of pearl buttons. Proper Cloth's options led us to a barrel cuff, an angled pocket and a one-piece yoke, and the design as made does not record a back box pleat.
A solid light grey oxford woven from Pima cotton, with a 40/1 by 21/2 construction that gives a heavier oxford with noticeable body without becoming thick. It is a hard-wearing cloth that softens and settles with repeated washing and wear.
