Grey Check Cotton-Silk Two-Pocket Long Point Collar Work Shirt
Drake's two-pocket work shirt takes the plain, practical shape of a workwear shirt and makes it in a softer, finer cloth. This version uses a brushed cotton-silk in a grey check, cut on the house casual block with a long point collar, twin flap chest pockets and mother of pearl buttons. It is made in Portugal with single-needle seams and is intended as a weekend shirt, worn on its own or as a light overshirt.

Reda Charcoal Small Check Merino Wool
We wanted a charcoal check with some weight to it, and chose a Reda merino in a small charcoal check because it matches the original's colour and its place between a shirt and a light layer. Proper Cloth offers no brushed cotton-silk flannel, so the soft, napped feel of the original becomes a smooth worsted wool. We set the details to follow the original: pointed flap pockets on both sides of the chest, one-button barrel cuffs, a curved hem and mother of pearl buttons. The collar is Proper Cloth's soft point, the closest it offers to a long point, and we left it unfused so that it sits loosely, as a casual collar should.
A 120s two-ply merino wool woven by Reda in a plain weave, medium heavyweight, with a smooth finish and a small charcoal check. It resists creasing and odour well, regulates warmth, and can be worn several times between washes.
