Blue Check Cotton Long Point Collar Shirt
This is a long-sleeved cotton shirt in a fine blue and white check, made in Somerset from a Japanese cotton. Its long point collar draws on mid-century shirting, and the cut follows Drake's casual block, which sits easy and relaxed on the body. A single pleated flap pocket on the chest, rounded one-button cuffs and a gently curved hem keep it on the casual side of tailored dress. It suits wearing on its own or under a soft jacket.

Irving Blue End on End Check
We chose a lightweight blue and white check broadcloth in single-ply 60s cotton, because it comes closest to the light, smooth poplin of the original. We set a soft front placket, a single flap chest pocket, soft one-button barrel cuffs, a medium curved hem and mother of pearl buttons to follow the Drake's details. Proper Cloth's collar options gave no direct match for the elongated mid-century point, so we used a soft point collar instead. The shirt also has a split yoke and a button on the sleeve placket.
A very lightweight cotton broadcloth woven from 60s single-ply yarns, with a smooth, soft finish that does not feel fragile. The blue and white check is built from end-on-end yarns, which give it a tonal, slightly varied look at a medium scale, and the weight is light enough to wear on its own or under a jumper or jacket for most of the year.
