Brown Linen Games Blazer Mk. II
The Mk. II Games blazer is a second version of Drake's collegiate-inspired Games jacket, made in Italy from a textured brown linen. This version adds a peaked notch lapel with working keyhole buttonholes, so the jacket can be buttoned right up to the neck with five buttons, a feature borrowed from workwear. It is unlined and unstructured, with a soft shoulder and a roomy cut, and has patch pockets with chevron stitching. It can be worn on its own or with the matching Games trousers as a relaxed suit.

Tobacco Irish Linen Bedford Jacket
We chose a tobacco brown Irish linen from Baird McNutt because it has the plain, slightly irregular texture and warm brown colour of the original. We matched the unlined, uncanvassed construction, the 3-roll-2 front, the ventless back, the three patch pockets and the dark brown horn buttons, and added traveller interior pockets in place of the passport pockets. Proper Cloth offers no peaked notch lapel with keyhole buttonholes, so we used a standard notch lapel and a conventional front. The ticket pocket and chevron stitching are also left out.
A 100% linen plain weave from Baird McNutt, the Irish mill in business since 1798, at a heavy 400 g. It is a solid tobacco brown with slight variation from its irregular yarns, and it feels smooth yet textured. It drapes well, breathes, and should soften and crease naturally with wear.
