Green Linen Games Blazer Mk. III
The Mk. III is the double-breasted member of Drake's Games series, a group of soft, relaxed jackets that sit at the easier end of tailoring. It takes the six-by-two front and peak lapels of a classic blazer and builds them in the manner of a work jacket, with no lining, no structure and patch pockets. The cut is a little shorter and fuller than Drake's conventional tailoring. It is made in Italy from pure linen and is intended as an everyday jacket for warm weather and for informal and semi-formal dress.

In Proper Cloth
Drago Sage Wool and Linen Hopsack Bedford Jacket
We chose a sage wool and linen hopsack from Drago because it was the closest solid green with a linen character that Proper Cloth offered, though it is lighter and greener than the original's dark green. We matched the shape of the original with a six-button double-breasted front, peak lapels, unstructured and uncanvassed construction, an unlined body, a ventless back and patch pockets. Proper Cloth's options led us to light brown horn buttons rather than cream ones, and to traveller interior pockets in place of Drake's buttoned passport pockets. The sleeves are lined in a striped cloth.
A hopsack of 60% linen and 40% wool woven by Drago, a family-owned mill in Biella, at about 270 g. The surface is smoother than pure linen and the slub is subtle, while the solid sage green shifts slightly in tone. The wool gives it more body and better crease recovery than linen alone, so it holds a neater line through the day.
