Navy Tropical Wool Tailored Jacket
This is a single-breasted navy jacket from Drake's tailored range, cut closer to the body than the house's Games tailoring. It is made in Italy from a high-twist tropical merino and left unlined, with half-canvas construction and a soft, natural shoulder, so that it stays light in warm weather. Patch pockets and a boat-shaped breast pocket keep it on the relaxed side of tailoring. It can be worn as an odd jacket or as part of a suit with matching trousers.

Reda Navy Hopsack Bedford Jacket
We chose a solid navy wool hopsack from Reda because it matches the original's colour, its open basket texture and its all-wool content. We kept the unlined body, the soft half-canvas construction, the notch lapel, the patch pockets and the dark horn buttons. Proper Cloth's options led us to a two-button front where the original has one button, and to four kissing buttons on the cuff where the original has a non-working sham cuff. The cloth also weighs more than a true tropical.
An S110s merino wool hopsack woven by Reda in Italy, in solid navy, at 270 g. The open basket weave gives the surface a clear texture and lets air through, and the cloth is suited to wear in most seasons rather than only in high summer.
