Navy Wool Hopsack Travel Blazer
Drake's navy blazer is a soft, unlined jacket that gives a formal staple a looser, more casual form. It follows the house cut, with a natural shoulder, light waist shaping, a 3-roll-2 front and patch pockets. The jacket is fully canvassed with a hand-shaped chest and has its collar and sleeves attached by hand. It is meant to be worn with denim as readily as with tailored trousers.

Reda Navy Hopsack Bedford Jacket
We chose a navy hopsack from Reda because it is an open-textured Italian wool in a plain navy, which is the basis of the original. We set the construction to match it: soft full canvas, no body lining, a three-two roll notch lapel, patch pockets and dark brown horn buttons on the front and on four-button cuffs. Proper Cloth's options led us to side vents instead of a single centre vent, and the specification lists no ticket pocket.
A Super 110s merino wool hopsack woven by Reda in Italy, at about 270 grams, in a solid navy. The open basket weave gives the surface visible texture and lets air through, so the cloth suits wear in most seasons.
