Navy Linen-Cotton Double-Breasted Tailored Jacket
Drake's double-breasted jacket is cut from a navy blend of linen and cotton, sourced from an Italian cloth merchant and made in the house's Italian factory. It is built on a full canvas with a hand-shaped chest and a soft, natural shoulder, so the double-breasted front hangs easily rather than stiffly. The six-on-two front and sharp peak lapel follow classic double-breasted proportions. It is sold as part of a suit, and also works as a separate with other tailored trousers.

Double Breasted Reda Navy Hopsack Bedford Jacket
We wanted a navy cloth with the dry, open texture of linen that would still hold its shape, so we chose a merino hopsack from Reda rather than a linen-cotton blend. We set the six-on-two front, peak lapel, soft full canvas, flapped hip pockets with a ticket pocket and four-button cuffs to match the original. Proper Cloth offers mother-of-pearl buttons, so we used those in place of horn, and the cloth comes out heavier than the original's lightweight blend.
An S110s merino wool hopsack woven by Reda in Italy, in solid navy, weighing about 270 g. The open basket weave gives a lightly textured surface that looks a little like linen and lets air through. Merino recovers well from creasing, so the cloth wrinkles less than linen does.
