Navy Cotton Corduroy Games Blazer Mk. I
The Games blazer is Drake's take on the casual jacket, cut a little shorter and fuller than its tailored coats so that it sits at the relaxed end of formal dress. The Mk. I takes as much from workwear as from tailoring. It is boxy and unstructured, with twin-needle seams and no lining, which recalls the working jackets of twentieth-century artists and craftsmen. This version is made in Italy from a heavy 8-wale cotton corduroy woven in Yorkshire's Calder Valley, and it can be worn alone or with matching trousers as an informal suit.

Waverly Navy Stretch Corduroy Jacket
We picked a saturated navy corduroy from Duca Visconti because it is the closest Proper Cloth offers to the original's colour and its soft, heavy feel. We matched the build: no canvas, no lining, no vent, a three-roll-two notch lapel, patch and flap hip pockets and dark brown horn buttons. Proper Cloth had no 8-wale cloth in this colour, so we accepted a finer 14 wale. The cloth also has a small amount of elastane, which stays within our tolerance. Standard interior pockets replace the original's buttoned passport pockets.
A navy 14-wale corduroy woven in Italy by Duca Visconti from cotton with 2% elastane, weighing around 450 g. It has a velvety, dense hand with a little give, and its body is substantial enough for cold-weather wear.
