Black Corduroy Games Mk. III Dinner Jacket
The Mk. III Games jacket is Drake's take on the double-breasted dinner jacket, made in Italy in a wider wale black cotton corduroy. It mixes the casual build of the Games series, with its patch pockets and unlined, unstructured body, with the peak lapel and six-button front of evening wear. A contrasting cotton sateen facing on the lapels marks it as a dinner jacket. It is meant to be worn with the matching Games dinner trousers or more loosely through the party season.

Waverly Navy Stretch Corduroy Jacket
We chose a solid corduroy from Duca Visconti for its soft hand and because it can be made up unlined and without canvas, close to the original's loose build. Proper Cloth had no black corduroy in this range, so we took the darkest available colour, a deep navy, and its 14-wale rib is finer than Drake's wider wale. We matched the six-button double-breasted peak lapel, the unlined body, the ventless back, the patch pockets and the dark horn buttons, and used traveller interior pockets in place of the twin passport pockets. Proper Cloth cannot add a contrasting sateen lapel facing, so the lapels are in the same corduroy as the body.
A 14-wale corduroy woven in Italy by Duca Visconti from cotton with 2% elastane, weighing about 450 g. It is a saturated solid navy with a velvety pile and a little stretch. It feels substantial but soft, and should wear in gently across the rib.
