The Mk. I Games Blazer is a soft, boxy jacket that takes as much from painters' smocks and old chore coats as from conventional tailoring. This limited edition was made with the artist Michael McGregor. Its light white seersucker was chosen with his summers painting on Hydra in mind, where a cool and unrestrictive jacket matters. It is unlined and ventless with a natural shoulder, and it was designed to be worn either with its matching trousers as a loose summer suit or on its own.

Ivory Irish Linen Bedford Jacket
The seersucker itself was not on offer, so we chose a pale, plain-dyed linen with an irregular surface. It is the nearest available option for a warm-weather jacket with visible texture in a near-white colour. We matched the construction: no canvas, no lining, a three-roll-two notch lapel, flapped patch pockets, horn buttons, a ventless back and internal travel pockets. The linen we chose is ivory rather than pure white, and it is a heavy cloth where the original is light, which changes how the jacket hangs and how cool it wears.
This is a pure Irish linen from Baird McNutt in a plain weave of about 400 g, a heavy weight for a jacket. It is a creamy ivory with slight slubs and variation from the irregular yarn. The hand is smooth but textured, it drapes with some weight, and it will crease and soften in the usual way of linen.
