Ecru Canepa Games Blazer Mk. III
The Games Blazer Mk. III is the double-breasted member of Drake's Games series, a line of soft tailoring that combines the conventions of a formal blazer with the practicality of a work jacket. It is cut a little shorter and fuller than the house's traditional tailoring, with broad peak lapels, an unlined body and a natural, unpadded shoulder. The idea is a jacket that holds its shape like a chore coat while still nodding to dress clothes, meant for everyday wear across a wide range of occasions.

Double Breasted Ivory Irish Linen Carmine Jacket
We chose a heavy ivory Irish linen from Baird McNutt because its irregular, slightly slubby surface and creamy colour come close to the textured ecru cloth of the original, and its weight gives the jacket some body. We set the construction to match: six buttons in a double-breasted peak lapel front, unlined and uncanvassed, ventless, with patch pockets and light brown horn buttons. Proper Cloth offers traveller interior pockets rather than buttoned passport pockets, so we used those, and the jacket carries functional kissing sleeve buttons and lined sleeves.
A 400 g plain weave in 100% linen from Baird McNutt, the Irish mill working since 1798. It is a creamy ivory with the gentle variation of a slightly irregular yarn, smooth yet textured in the hand, and it breathes well and drapes softly, creasing in the way linen does with wear.
