Indigo Cotton-Linen Games Blazer Mk. I
The Games Blazer Mk. I is a casual single-breasted jacket that takes as much from workwear as from tailoring. Its boxy, unstructured cut sits shorter and fuller than a conventional tailored jacket, and its twin-needle seams and open, unlined build recall the work jackets of twentieth-century artists and craftsmen. This version is made in Italy from an indigo-dyed cotton and linen blend, and it can be worn alone or with matching trousers as a loose, informal suit.

Spence Bryson Faded Navy Irish Linen Waverly Jacket
We chose a washed Irish linen in faded navy because it comes closest to the soft, uneven blue of indigo-dyed cloth and has a dry, textured surface. We kept the main points of the design: a three-roll-two notch lapel, unstructured and unlined construction, patch and flap hip pockets, and dark horn buttons. Proper Cloth offers no cotton-linen indigo twill of this kind, so we used pure linen in a plain weave, which is heavier. The interior has standard pockets in place of the paired passport pockets with loop closures.
A pure linen from Spence Bryson, a mill that has woven linen in Ireland since the eighteenth century. It is a plain weave of about 400 g, washed to a faded navy, with enough body to hold its shape without canvas. It softens with wear and creases into loose folds rather than sharp lines.
