Khaki Green Linen-Wool Single Pleat Trouser
This is the house trouser from Drake's, cut here in a khaki green blend of linen and wool intended for warm weather. It sits at a mid-rise with a single reverse pleat at each side and a leg that runs clean with a gentle taper, so the line is neat without being slim. The waist borrows from tailoring, with side adjusters in place of belt loops, an extended tab and an internal French bearer. It is meant as a summer trouser that sits between tailored and casual dress and can be worn with a jacket or without.

Pine Wool Dress Pant
We could not find a linen and wool blend in the right shade on Proper Cloth, so we chose an all-wool twill in a muted pine green as the closest match for colour and weight. Our aim was to keep the original's quiet, solid green and its midweight drape rather than the dry, slubbed feel that the linen gives. We set a single pleat, an extended button tab, dark brown horn buttons, a zip fly, an uncuffed hem and a lining to the knee to follow the original. Proper Cloth's build has belt loops and side seam pockets, so the side adjusters and after-dinner split are not carried over.
The cloth is a solid pine green twill in Tasmanian wool at around 280 g, which puts it in the medium weight range. It has the smooth surface and supple drape of a worsted dress cloth, holds a crease well, and suits wear through most of the year rather than summer alone.
