Navy Textured Cotton Flat Front Chino
Drake's navy chino is a flat-front cotton trouser cut along mid-century lines. It has a high rise that sits just above the hip, a full leg through the thigh and a gentle taper below the knee. Side adjusters are fitted alongside the belt loops, a practical detail taken from older workwear and service trousers. It is made in Portugal from a midweight Italian cotton and is intended as a plain, year-round trouser to wear with most things.

Navy Cadet Chino
We chose a navy two-ply cotton twill of almost the same weight, so the colour, the visible diagonal and the substance of the cloth stay close to the original. We set a high rise, a flat front, a zip fly with button fastening, belt loops and vertical side seam pockets, and chose dark horn buttons to match the original's waist button. Proper Cloth's chino pattern offers no side adjusters, so we kept belt loops only. Its back pocket is an angled flap rather than a button-flap patch, and we used that as offered.
A navy two-ply cotton twill from Portugal, around 9.6oz (325 g), with a left-hand twill that drapes a little more softly than a right-hand weave. It is firm and holds its shape when new, and it softens gradually with washing rather than wearing thin.
