Indigo Cotton Long Point Collar Work Shirt
Drake's work shirt takes the plain utility shirt of the workshop and the yard and gives it a more tailored edge. It is cut from an indigo dyed chambray of cotton and linen and made in Portugal, with two buttoned flap pockets on the chest and twin-button cuffs. A long point collar moves it towards the dressier end of casual shirting, and the single-needle seams and corozo buttons are the same as on the rest of the house's shirts. It is meant for relaxed weekend wear, outdoors or in town, worn on its own or as a light outer layer.

Portuguese Navy Cotton and Linen Oxford
We chose a dark navy cotton and linen cloth from a Portuguese mill to stand in for the indigo cotton-linen chambray, keeping a solid blue and a slightly slubbed linen texture at a similar medium weight. We kept the point collar, two-button cuffs, front placket, curved hem, corozo buttons and two flapped chest pockets. Proper Cloth does not offer the mitred button-flap patch pocket, so we used its western flap pockets, which come with a split yoke. The cuffs are square rather than rounded barrels, and the seams use a quarter-inch stitch where the original is single-needle.
A solid dark navy oxford of 55% cotton and 45% linen, woven in Portugal from 38s yarns at a medium weight. The linen gives it some slub and a dry, breathable hand. It is more opaque and more durable than most cotton-linen blends and should soften with washing.
