Navy Herringbone Shetland Tweed Blazer
This is a single-breasted navy blazer in Shetland tweed, woven in herringbone. Tweed like this has long been worn for country and sporting dress, and here the cut brings it closer to town tailoring. It is made in Italy on Drake's tailored block, which is closer and more shaped than their Games jackets. The shoulder is soft, the body unlined and the front half-canvassed, so the jacket can be worn as casually as a cardigan or with a tie.

Angelico Navy Herringbone Italian Wool Flannel
We chose a navy herringbone in pure wool because its colour and weave match the original most closely, while accepting a brushed flannel finish in place of a rough Shetland tweed. We matched the main details of the Drake's jacket: a two-button notch lapel, soft half-canvas construction, an unlined body, patch pockets and dark horn buttons. Proper Cloth's design comes with working sleeve buttons, so the cuffs are functional and kissing rather than decorative.
A dense pure wool flannel from Lanificio Angelico, an Italian mill founded in the 1950s. It is woven in a tonal, low-contrast navy herringbone and brushed to a soft, smooth hand, at a medium-heavy weight suited to autumn and winter.
