Navy Herringbone Twill Cotton Games Blazer Mk. I
The Mk. I Games Blazer is a casual cotton jacket that takes as much from workwear as from tailoring. Its cloth is a Japanese herringbone twill modelled on a 1940s American military fabric, and its construction recalls the plain working jackets worn by artists and craftsmen in the last century. It is cut boxy and soft, without lining or structure, and is intended to be worn alone or with matching trousers as a relaxed two-piece.

Navy High Twist Cotton Sullivan Jacket
We chose a navy high-twist cotton twill from Tessuti di Sondrio, the closest navy cotton twill available, accepting that it is a plain twill rather than a herringbone. We set the jacket unconstructed and unlined in the body, with a 3-roll-2 notch lapel, ventless back, patch and flap hip pockets and dark brown horn buttons, which match the dark tone the Drake's buttons show in photographs. Proper Cloth offers traveller interior pockets in place of Drake's looped passport pockets, and its build adds a striped sleeve lining and a self-fabric melton under the collar.
A navy 100% cotton twill woven in Italy by Tessuti di Sondrio from tightly twisted yarns, at a medium-heavy weight. The yarns give a smooth, dry hand with a slightly open weave that breathes well, a clean drape and some natural resistance to creasing. It suits spring through autumn and wears well on its own or as part of a suit.
