Olive Herringbone Twill Cotton Games Blazer Mk. I
The Mk. I Games Blazer is Drake's casual cotton jacket, cut as much from workwear as from tailoring. It has a boxy, unstructured body, a soft natural shoulder and a generous sleeve. It is left unlined and sewn with twin needle seams, which recalls the working jackets of twentieth-century artists and craftsmen. The cloth is a Japanese herringbone twill modelled on a 1940s American military fabric, and the jacket is made in Italy to be worn alone or with matching trousers as a relaxed two-piece.

Khaki High Twist Cotton Sullivan Jacket
We set the jacket up to follow the Games Blazer's shape: an uncanvassed, unlined body, a three-roll-two notch lapel, patch and flap hip pockets, a ventless back and mother of pearl buttons, with interior pockets in place of the passport pockets. We could not find a matching olive herringbone, so we chose a plain khaki cotton twill from an Italian mill. This keeps the all-cotton, workwear-leaning character but gives up the colour and the herringbone texture. The sleeves are lined in a stripe, which the original does not specify.
This is a solid khaki twill in 100% high-twist cotton, woven by Tessuti di Sondrio in Italy. The tightly twisted yarns give a smooth face, a slightly open and breathable weave, a clean drape and some natural resistance to creasing. It is classed as medium heavyweight and suits spring through autumn.
